Early Access on Steam means you are purchasing an unfinished version of the game while it is still in development, with updates planned for the future. The current version is nearly up-to-date and includes future updates at a higher price point compared to other platforms.
You can download the full game as a 10 GB file or in parts. Download all three part files (e.g., Bloody_Spell.zip.part1.rar) and use 7zip to extract them. Extracting the first file will automatically extract the rest.
To add local mods, navigate to your LocalLow folder (e.g., C:\Users\<username>\AppData\LocalLow\shixue\BloodySpell). Inside this directory, create a new 'workshop' folder and within it, create another folder named 'weapon'. Extract the mod files into this 'weapon' folder. Open the data.manifest file in a text editor and ensure the folder name matches the required path (e.g., a01_BH3_01). Start the game to see if the mod loads correctly.
The only essential DLC adds characters and story content for $9. Other DLC includes overpriced costumes, but these are also accessible via Steam Workshop with mods created by the community.
