Lowering the resolution scale significantly helps performance on low settings. For example, setting it to 75% of your native resolution (e.g., 1440p to slightly above 1080p) can achieve mostly stable 60fps on an RTX 2070S.
The global illumination setting is found in the 'GameUserSettings' ini file located at users\(username)\AppData\Local\BigBangGame\Saved\Config\Windows. Setting it to 2 maintains good lighting without performance issues.
