Is there any NPC interaction guide?

There isn't an NPC interaction guide currently available because most interactions follow the storyline quests, which you only need to complete without manually triggering them.

Can players retrieve lost backpacks after death?

Currently, there's no feature for retrieving lost backpacks after death. However, a corpse node that allows players to recover their items might be added in future updates, but the developer is still considering this idea.

How can I use books found outside of quests?

Books such as weapons, repair, atlas, and gear are used for unlocking features like equipment recasting and enchanting in version 0.2. Extra books can be sold for money. Additionally, supplies cannot be used during combat; players should save their game and try different strategies.

What happens if I miss the retreat node?

If you miss the retreat node, you must clear the current map to progress. The developer is considering optimizing this issue in future updates to reduce game difficulty.

Where is duct tape located and how do you unlock it?

Duct tape is found in the sewers, which are part of the second map. You can unlock it by completing the Saika questline. Additionally, you can purchase it at the black market or find it as a loot drop.

In versions prior to 0.4, missing a Retreat node would force you to complete the entire map before returning to base. In version 0.4 and later, Retreat nodes no longer disappear after being visited, allowing you to return home whenever needed.

• Look for the Retreat node (identified by ⛺) and use it to return home directly.
• If you need supplies, open your backpack at a Retreat node to resupply before retreating.
• Make sure your backpack is not full when trying to leave the Library. Clear some space to proceed.
• To continue Saika's questline after completing tasks in the Old Town Library, download and apply Patch V0.3.

Node Types

• Item nodes (identified by 📦) offer supplies without any battles. Use them for restocking.
• Event nodes (identified by ❔) often trigger quests, so be sure to explore these thoroughly.
• Normal combat nodes (identified by ⚔) are straightforward battles where you can gain initial equipment.
• Elite combat nodes (identified by ☠) require better equipment and offer advanced gear as rewards.
• BOSS nodes are the most challenging in each level. Attempt them after conquering elite nodes.
