Do I need to play the first game before playing this one?

No, you don't need to play the first game, but players who have already played it will get more of the story and be familiar with the world.

Can I change the movement/menu controls in the game?

Yes, you can switch the controls to Arrows + X for faster gameplay using both hands. This setup keeps all important controls accessible without moving your hands.

Is there a possibility of multiple endings based on choices made during the game?

The story is still in progress, but it's possible that there will be multiple endings depending on player choices and actions.

Are all sex scenes optional and avoidable?

Yes, all adult content is avoidable. There are no forced or non-consensual encounters in the game.

How can I find my way around using maps?

You can purchase maps at the trading post after talking to the water elemental woman and crossing the lake. Each floor has its own map, making exploration easier with a mini-map displayed on screen.

Is there a need for sleep or rest points outside of specific areas?

Currently, you can only sleep on one side of the lake. This will be fixed in an upcoming update scheduled for mid/end of May for public release and start of May for supporters.

Do I need to choose a class at the beginning of the game?

No, you don't need to choose a specific class. You can focus on either physical attacks or magic by training different stats as you level up.

Does choosing stat bonuses affect which class I get later in the game?

The main character is designated as the Champion of the Hollow Queen, and this class change occurs after completing the prologue regardless of initial stat choices. There are no different classes available based on early choices.

How can I adjust the break time between key commands?

The next update will include an option to change the break time between key commands, allowing you to prevent double key presses.

What are the different routes and followers available in the game?

Currently, there are four main routes: mine's guard, bandit, mercenary, and anti-slavery. You can have two followers for now. The adventurer route will open after the city map is added.

Where can I find companions in the game?

You can find companions inside a house on fire in the devastated hobgoblin village and from the last floor of the minotaur's cave.

What is inside the treasure chest?

The chest contains only some random amount of coins. The next update, likely to be released early June, will add more content.

How do I equip the magic sword?

To equip the magic sword, you must have Strength 40 and reach level 8.

What is a bonus charm and how can I get one?

A bonus charm boosts stats and HP. You can obtain it by asking the bard to sing the right song and making a donation to a divinity statue in the tavern near the minotaur cave.

Can I romance any women without blocking progress on the main story?

Romancing any woman will not block your progress on the main story, so you can ignore those you don't like without any problem. Note that romancing prostitutes is different from other women.

Can I learn blood magic in the game?

Yes, you can learn blood magic after recruiting a red hobgoblin and finding a book after killing the necromancer.

How do stats affect gameplay?

Stats like STR (Strength), DEF (Defense), AGI (Agility), INT (Intelligence), WIS (Wisdom), HP, and MP influence your combat style. For example, STR increases attack damage, DEF reduces physical damage taken, AGI allows you to act faster in turn order, INT boosts magic attack damage, and WIS decreases magic damage taken.

What is the damage calculation formula for enemy attacks?

The damage calculation formula involves a base attack value plus STR multiplied by a certain factor, minus DEF multiplied by another factor. For example, an enemy with an attack of 500 + (STR * 9) - (DEF * 4) and STR of 30 would deal 770 damage before defense is applied. If the player has 100 DEF, this reduces to 400, resulting in a net damage of 370. Each point of DEF can reduce up to 4 points of incoming damage depending on the attack formula.

How does resistance work against different elements?

Resistance is primarily gained through items like the Magic Sword which provides specific elemental resistances such as Darkness, reducing damage from spells with that element. General resistance states are not available via character stats but can be found in items.

What happens if I spare the Kobold bandits who kidnapped the merchant?

If you choose to spare the Kobold bandits, there is a possibility of encountering them again in future updates. This decision may influence ongoing story elements and interactions within the game.

How can I exit a floor in the maze?

Every floor has a red portal that takes you back to outside the maze. Alternatively, you can use an emergency button item from your inventory.

Which attributes should I prioritize when leveling up?

Focus on increasing intelligence (int), wisdom (wis), and charisma (cha) as these are best for raising strength and agility later through training in camp or inn. You can also purchase missed items or skills from stores in the city.

What faction should I choose if I want to play a good character?

Avoid doing mine guard quests and instead help with anti-slavery efforts. When choosing between mercenaries and bandits, mercenaries are recommended for end-game content in version 0.4.8.

Can I change my faction choice after making it?

Make a save before deciding on a faction to easily revert your decision if you think you made a mistake.
