What are the differences between the 2D and 3D modes?
The 2D mode is still under development, uses original artwork, has an actual plot with speaking characters, and features turn-based RPG battles. The 3D mode is more of a port using Miku Miku Dance models, lacks a detailed plot beyond short info blurbs on participating girls, and includes rogue-like elements with rail movement between rooms.
What is the development order for chapters?
Chapters 2 through 5 can be played in any order after completing Chapter 1. However, they are developed in the following sequence: 5, 2, 4, and then 3. The chapters follow a roughly chronological storyline but not necessarily in this development order.
What types of transformations occur between modes?
There are five permanent transformations in Chapter 1 with an additional temporary one. In Chapter 5, there are six transformations and more are expected to be added.
Where can I find the latest updates for non-patrons?
Prototype 5-5d is now available for non-patrons. You can download it from Mediafire or Mega.nz until the official update is released.
What should I do if Chapter 5 gets stuck on loading?
If you experience issues with Chapter 5 getting stuck during loading, try setting 'Use Low Res for Adventure Mode' to true in Global Options under Engine and Display Options. This will use lower resolution graphics which may allow the game to run even if it lacks sufficient VRAM.
How can I fix texture loading issues?
If textures are not loading correctly, you can download a zip file containing pre-made levels for floor 32 and replace the .slf files in your existing folder. This should resolve any background or font rendering problems.

Walkthrough

Electrosprite Adventure

  • If you're stuck after Susan disappears in the Electrosprite adventure, log out of the game and talk to Amanda who will give you the command 'warp debugroom' to proceed.

Tourist Mode

  • Enabling Tourist mode triples your party's damage. This can be found in the game guide within the readme file.

Strategies for Boss Fights

  • Ensure character 55 has the block ability and use it during phases where she focuses on 55, track her changing vulnerabilities with f1, build stun to reduce damage output, and learn her attack patterns. Refer to a detailed guide by a super fan available on Google Drive for more specifics.

Known bugs

  • Chapter 5 experiences significant lag with the top left bar always full.

  • Linux builds (versions 5-3f and 5-3d) crash due to missing FMODBASS libraries. Windows build under Wine crashes silently; SDL and SDL+FMOD builds crash with a null pointer dereference when opening blue chests in chapter 1 or after exiting the sewers.

    Workaround: Downloading the required libraries from un4seen and using patchelf may resolve the issue, but this was not expected to be necessary.
