If you encounter an animation that won't skip, try finding the girl icon behind the stuck image and repeat the action that caused it to overwrite and clear the issue. This happened when progressing with Rika during a period transition from afternoon to night after her shooting mini-game.
On Android, play Easy or Medium for better performance. On Windows, you can achieve good scores even on Hard mode. The meter at the top affects relationship points; being on the bad side reduces them while the good side increases them faster. However, completing a session on any difficulty will still give some points.
