How do I complete tasks after exiting the tower in the harbor?

You exit the tower, go to the other side of the harbor, complete the next two tasks there, and then return to the mayor.

What should I do next if I am stuck in a mission?

There is an NPC near your home in Yarinwharf who will give you a letter and that will continue the quest.

How do I proceed with the Swan mission after entering the house?

You don't get to full blown encounters for a bit, but as for unlocking scenes just natural story progression gets them. If you haven’t already, go into the items menu and use the one that toggles off encounters.

What is required to unlock birthing scenes in the post-game?

To unlock birthing scenes, go to the Capital from the entrance and turn right. There will be a hidden area with an NPC who gives you a 'Cum Bucket of Holding'. Use this bucket on enemies of specific types (Human, Wolves, Slingers, Sahagin, Bear, Deer, Goblins) three times each except for Wolves which need six encounters. These can be found in locations such as the Mountain Trail, Cascade Coast, Yarinwharf Forest, Swamp, and Maple Village.

Encounter Management

• There is a 'toggle encounters' switch in the inventory to disable enemy fights.
• Using the 'Cum Bucket of Holding' during battles with certain enemies will unlock specific scenes. You need to activate these scenes three times for most enemies, except six times for wolves.

Scene Unlocking

• To find wolves, explore various locations such as Yarinwharf Forest and the Swamp.
• For human encounters, try the Mountain Trail near Cascade Harbor.
• Slingers are easily found in the Swamp, while Sahagin can be encountered there too.
• Goblins are best found via a secret passage from Maple Village.
• Centuars are uncommon but can be found in Ancient Path Ruins.
• Minotaurs increase in frequency along the Crimson Road and Blackhorn Territory.
• Ogres are easiest to find in Mastodon Village.

General Progression

• Natural story progression will unlock all scenes without needing specific encounters early on.
• Explore Maple Village for access to the Swamp and other areas with enemy types needed for scene unlocking.
