MalO on Camera FAQ

Question 1

Does Freecam work in the game?

Accepted Answer

Unfortunately, the Freecam does not work in this game.

Question 2

How can I prevent Mal0 from getting into my room?

Accepted Answer

Flashing Mal0 with a camera reduces her aggression. If you don't flash her enough or keep lights on in your room, her aggression may increase to the point where she enters your room regardless of lighting conditions.

Question 3

Where should I place the MaloOnCamera_Exe_Full_Hotfix files?

Accepted Answer

Place the file in C:\Users\your name\AppData\LocalLow\DefaultCompany\Malo on camera. Setting Max Aggro really high can prevent a Game Over.

Question 4

What changes were introduced in version 1.30?

Accepted Answer

Version 1.30 includes new features such as Phone mode where MalO sends pictures, extra icons for easier viewing, and five new images to collect. Bug fixes include audio issues after scenes and difficulty scaling problems.

Question 5

How do I handle Night 5?

Accepted Answer

In Night 5, Mal0 is invisible on cameras and does not send any images. Focus on checking the window frequently and closing blinds when she appears there. Also, listen for a single click noise indicating tampering with your bedroom door.
