Multiic FAQ

Question 1

Does the game require an internet connection?

Accepted Answer

Yes, the game requires an internet connection because chatbots need to connect to their response database. Playing offline would either remove chatbot functionality or require downloading a large database, which is not feasible.

Question 2

Is there a plan to make the game playable on weaker devices?

Accepted Answer

The developers are working on making the game compatible with less powerful laptops/PCs but have encountered difficulties. They are searching for solutions that work even on weak machines.

Question 3

Which AI model is recommended and why?

Accepted Answer

Gemini is recommended because it can be used for free and provides relatively good performance. Among the powerful free models, llama-3.1-70b-versatile from Groq service is noted as one of the best. However, claude-3-5-sonnet (Anthropic) offers the best results but requires a paid plan.

Question 4

How do I clear storage and cache on Android?

Accepted Answer

On Android: Go to 'App Info' -> 'Storage & Cache', then select 'Clear Storage' + 'Clear Cache'.

Question 5

Where is the game's data stored on Windows?

Accepted Answer

The game's data on Windows is typically stored in '%AppData%\Multiic'.

Question 6

Are there any fees for using Gemini?

Accepted Answer

No fees will be charged unless you subscribe to a paid plan within your Google/Gemini account.

Question 7

How do I obtain and use API keys in the game settings?

Accepted Answer

To use other models, create an API key in your Gemini personal account. Insert the key into the appropriate field in the game's settings and select the corresponding model. All necessary links for obtaining keys are available in the game’s settings/help section.

Question 8

What is stream mode?

Accepted Answer

Stream mode allows you to receive responses in real-time as they are generated, rather than waiting until all text has been processed and delivered at once.
