Oh when you met Garrett or whatever the mage guy is called did you agree to the training session with the H scene? If you did Sana should have a bunch of abilities and the MC should have a tanking ability.

If you agreed to the training session, Sana will gain several new abilities. Additionally, the main character (MC) will acquire a tanking ability.

Progression Tips

• Leave and re-enter the Inn to progress the scene.
• After entering the sewers for the second time, go left from the entrance.

Combat Strategies

• Visit the weapon and armor shop run by the elf smith early in the game to equip better gear.
• In the sewer fight, have Sana cast Hypnotic Sway to keep the small slime and tentacle out of combat. Use two Meteors to defeat them easily.
• Use Anon's Substitute ability frequently during battles. Guard on the first turn with Garret, then use Meteor once followed by Fireballs. Apply buffs twice with Sana and spam debuffs.
