The original file size is quite large due to improper image compression. For example, a 2.44 GB file was compressed down to 285 MB with minimal loss in quality using webp format at 90% quality.
Downloads are available on multiple platforms including Windows, Linux, and Mac. For example, v0.3 of My Pervy Poltergeist is compressed to 495 MB for PC and 490 MB for Mac from an original size of 1.83 GB.
The game crashes due to a missing font in this release. The developer is working on fixing it as soon as possible.
To help identify and fix issues such as the date scene bug, you need to understand how to build packages using Ren'Py or upload updates correctly through platforms like Itch.io. The developer is looking for suggestions on reducing file size without sacrificing quality.
The distribution method varies; for instance, Google Drive links might provide full files while the one on Itch.io could be split. This is likely due to platform-specific requirements or preferences.
There was a reported issue where loading certain saves caused the game to revert to earlier chapters, such as going back from Chapter 9 to an earlier chapter. The developer is aware and working on resolving this.
The developer mistakenly named part 2 with a higher version number than intended. It should have been labeled as 0.8 or lower, similar to previous updates.
Workaround: Removing the subfolder containing the font file and placing it directly in the game folder may resolve the issue, though it might not work for compiled builds.
Version: 0.4.1
