Natalie & Soldiers FAQ

Question 1

How do I resolve the Spacewar pop-up when launching a game on Steam?

Accepted Answer

To avoid the Spacewar pop-up, close the Steam launcher before playing your game. Alternatively, developers can detach their game's Steam ID to prevent this issue from occurring.

Question 2

What is Spacewar and why does it appear when launching some games on Steam?

Accepted Answer

Spacewar is a hidden example game on Steam used by developers for testing Steamworks APIs. It may also be exploited by pirates to make unauthorized copies of games look legitimate. However, the appearance of Spacewar itself typically doesn't indicate any malicious activity.
