What's new in terms of graphics updates?
Global lighting changes include the addition of the sun and darker caves. Textures now have normal maps for better light falloff representation. Bonfires and torches emit warmer light, shadows are cast from all entities, bloom effects enhance bright objects with additional glow, lens flares create chromatic aberration reflections on the camera, and dynamic lighting is optimized for weak devices.
What new features were added in version 0.5.5?
Version 0.5.5 introduced a new hostile mob called Green Slime that shoots clots of slime, marking it as the last hostile mob for the first level. There is also an NSFW scene with green slime referencing a famous fairy tale. All mobs now take damage from falling from great heights, and snowdrifts and tree crowns provide protection against fall damage. Background updates include multilayer parallax effects in levels.
Has sound been added to the game?
The game does have some sound elements beyond background music (BGM), though it may be incomplete at this stage.
Are all levels of the first part available now?
Only 2/3 of level 1 has been opened so far. The developers aim to build a solid foundation for the game before adding more content, with plans to release free versions on Itch in November if development continues successfully.
