How do I escape a certain area?

You can definitely escape it by interacting with the wall off to the side of one torch around the right end of the wall with both torches.

Monster Encounters

• If you receive messages like 'a dragon has caught your scent', let her catch you. Similarly, if you feel a chill in the air, it indicates the presence of a wendigo.
• The dragon and wendigo encounters are 50/50 chances and can differ after visiting the shop. The dragon is easier to dodge due to slower attacks compared to the fast-spamming wendigo.
• To unlock the Imp, allow it to hop on you to capture its animations.
• For the Nun, wait for it to pounce and grab you.
• In the jail cell of the second area with a note about breathing, press E on the chain at the ceiling while crouching (Ctrl) to encounter Baphomet. Be cautious as this interaction has consequences.
• The Dragon may spawn if you take too long; let it grab you but be prepared for an instant loss.
• For the Gargoyle, allow its satan star attack to hit you.
• At the rest area counter, interact with the front of Gravy's counter. The outcome can vary between two options.
• The Wendigo has a 50/50 chance of spawning and is invisible until close; proceed cautiously.
• To encounter Mimic, approach the chest that drools or opens slightly.

Secrets and Hidden Areas

• In the hallway with two stacked boxes in an alcove, interact with the torch to open a wall.
• Opening a bloody trapdoor leads to two chests and a ladder. Another closed trapdoor nearby cannot be interacted with.
• Interacting with the toilet in the bathroom opens a hidden wall.
• Pulling the chain in the broken jail cell reveals a crawlspace leading to Baphomet (no loot).
• In the throne room, interacting with a torch opens another secret passage.
• In rooms with waterfalls, interact with a torch on the wall to reveal an escape path.
• When falling into a room with blood, look for a note hinting that 'the torches move'. Interact with one of these moving torches to open a hidden exit.
