The story is loosely based on events that occurred in Rome during 105 BC.

Does increasing stats significantly affect the outcome of battles?

While stronger gladiators have a greater chance of winning, the statistics are almost marginal. The code shows randomness still plays a major role in determining the winner and loser.

How can I export my saves?

Saves can be exported like in other Twine games. However, clearing your browser cache or playing on private mode will result in losing your save/progress.

User Interface and Readability

• The text is very small and hard to read, especially with yellow on yellow color contrast.
• Disabling cursive font via browser's inspect mode can improve readability for those accustomed to sans-serif fonts.
• Zooming the screen to 150% may help make the text more legible.
