Why aren't the environments lit differently to highlight details like hair and facial expressions?
The environment lighting was deliberately kept dark to maintain a specific atmosphere, even though it means some of the detailed work on hair and facial expressions is less visible. Attempts were made to adjust the lighting but the results did not meet expectations.

Very dark or black screens that may appear as crashes on certain monitors
Workaround: Applying a blue shift to make dark scenes visible without looking like a crash
