Yes, you can select the difficulty by clicking on settings within the game.

Why does the VN main menu sometimes load on top of the default game menu?

There was a bug causing this issue due to a module conflict with the VN mode and the default game menu. The problem is being addressed, but as a temporary fix, you need to stop firing and clicking over it rather than shooting at it.

Can players customize character names or add nicknames in the bio?

The developer aims to provide a quality product that fits the story's purpose. Customizing character names or adding nicknames might not fit the narrative and could detract from the intended experience.

Why do tower shooting sounds play even when all game sound is turned off?

The tower shooting sound is currently not tied to the audio settings, so it plays regardless of the sound setting. This issue may be addressed in future updates.
