What elements of AI are used in developing this game?
Light AI is used for speeding up the process of getting characters and CG backgrounds ready. The design, poses, base images of characters are created by hand (the developer), then imported into Stable Diffusion (AI) to improve linework, proportions, and shading before being edited in Photoshop to fit a retro pixel art theme.
Why is the Patreon link not working properly?
The creator's account is still under review on Patreon. The issue will be addressed once the review process is complete.
Are there going to be many additional releases before the game is complete?
Yes, there will be multiple releases. Major updates will be versioned as 0.1, significant chunks of content as 0.01, and minor updates or technical improvements as 0.001.
Can the player's name be changed in the game?
Yes, you can change your name at the beginning of the game when prompted by an introductory screen.
Is it necessary to max out intelligence in the game?
No, you only need one point of intelligence for now. Maxing out intelligence is unnecessary except for a hidden interaction that requires just one intelligence point.
How frequently do updates occur?
Updates are released more frequently than once every few months to allow interested players to experience new content and improvements regularly, though playing each update is not mandatory.
What parts of the game were created using AI?
Currently, there are only three AI assets: a hill background in the opening scene, a shower wall background during the Melissa shower scene, and the game logo. These will be redone to remove any trace of AI in future updates.
How can you tell if something is made with AI or not?
AI cannot recreate pixel art properly; it produces approximations that may look fine from a distance but show skew, misalignment, and odd colors when zoomed in. True pixel art lines up perfectly.
