Yes, due to the developer's initial setup, both this game and another project share the same save file location. If you're playing both games, make sure to use different pages for saves. This will be fixed in a future update so that each game has its own save file location.
In v0.3.8, everything is now unlocked prior to the dates section. The developer also mentioned they won't be making any changes to a specific character's attributes due to personal preferences and the effort required.
Old saves from v0.3 versions will not transfer over to v0.4, but saves made in v0.4 should be compatible with v0.4.1.
